In 2002, during a visit to some underdeveloped areas in China, I witnessed many families living in poverty. Many children of these families lost their opportunities of schooling. Filled with unutterable sorrow, I shared my heart with people in the North America. Many of them responded rapidly by supporting 245 disadvantaged children for their basic education.
Later, we realized that these families also needed tangible support in other aspects of life as well. This led to the Go and Love Foundation being established in October 2003 as a non-profit organization registered in California.
We have provided a platform for many overseas Chinese to participate in helping such rural communities. With their professional expertise, these passionate professions have made changes for many lives through skill training, living condition improvement and facilities development. Besides the United States, these professionals also come from Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other countries to join us in our projects.
