Story of a drug addict’s family (II)
Message from Pastor Cao at the Hope Student Center:
Peace to all our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord!
Today, I went to visit the children again and brought along items donated by some caring individuals. Unfortunately, the youngest boy in the family died two days ago. Now there are only three children left behind. (Oldest daughter is 11, the second daughter is 8, the oldest son is 6.) I asked a local carpenter to help make a special bed tomorrow for temporary use. With Le’s waist down paralyzed condition, he is unable to move around. The children are just too young to help him, especially for his bathroom needs. With the special bed, he can remain in bed even when he has the need to go. Hopefully, this can help alleviate the situation. For the past few days, he wetted his bed, and no one could go near him at all because of the awful smell. We had also arranged to have some church members to visit him, care for him, and share more about the gospel with him on Saturday. He had never been to church before, living a life “freely” without God and beating up his own father, wife, and children. Maybe this is a lesson for him. Hopefully, through his paralyzed condition, it can rescue him and draw him back to our heavenly father. Only Jesus can forgive his sins and heal him.
